Parenting from the Heart
Parenting is the hardest job in the world! To be a parent is to have your heart living outside your body. Being the mother of two adult children, I've realized very quickly that you want so much to protect your children from all hurt ... and sometimes the hurt can come from us. Facing this hard truth can often be painful for parents and is best supported and cushioned by the help of a compassionate and playful therapist who is committed to sticking together with a family through trying times.

Parents are the most powerful influences in the lives of their children, yet parents often don't understand their own power, or even believe that they have any. I'm here to empower you to hear and see your children more fully while bringing the best parts of yourself to your interaction with your children. Parents are superheroes, each in their own right. The vast majority of parents want to show up for their children, to use their power to support their children, but some simply don't know how. Parents tend to parent in the same way that they were parented or in direct opposition to the way they were parented.

If you need a safe space to look at your parenting patterns and you want to interact with someone who willingly celebrates your growth and all the tiny victories along the way in the impossible job called parenting, then you need to head over to my Parenting from the Heart Courses and Resources page!
